Business Litigation

I have represented numerous businesses and individuals in a wide variety of complex business disputes, in and out of court. I have represented businesses in defense of allegations of financial fraud and breach of fiduciary duty and have defended claims of breach of a commercial lease. I have represented various businesses and business people in a wide variety of contractual disputes. Also, after being appointed by the Massachusetts Superior Court, I served as a receiver of a corporation and pursued claims against corporate insiders for breach of fiduciary duty relating to their mismanagement of the company. I have also served as local counsel in several claimed class actions brought in federal court against major, national companies asserting claims of unfair or deceptive sales practices in violations of the Federal Trade Commission Act (FTCA) or violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).

Business disputes can occur in a wide variety of businesses and can involve breaches of fiduciary, contractual, and statutory duties. In every case, I use my experience in seeking to bring about a favorable result to my client from both a legal and business perspective.

Examples of the types of business disputes I have been involved in are:

  • Contract Disputes
  • Unfair Trade Practices
  • Shareholder Disputes
  • Commercial Lease Litigation
  • Construction Litigation
  • Trademark Infringement
  • Insurance Coverage Disputes
  • Real Estate Litigation
